CR gymnasts perform well in Victoria

The Campbell River Gymnastics Association sent 22 athletes to the annual Garden City competition held in Victoria.  The girls performed well coming home with 17 medals and multiple ribbons.  Top All Around results include Shea Bridgen finishing with a Bronze All Around in the JO 7 group A division, Hannah Herschler bringing home the Bronze All Around in the JO 6 group A division and Shyanne Johnson captured the Silver medal on the JO 5 group A division.  Congrats to all the girls and below are the full results.

JO 7 group A

Shea Bridgen won the Bronze medal on vault, took the 4^th place ribbon on floor, finished 5^th on both bars and beam to come home with the Bronze medal in the All Around.

Isabella Michael won the Silver medal on beam, captured the bronze medal on vault, finished 7^th on floor and 9^th on bars to come home in 8^th place in the All Around.

JO 7 group B

Jadea Wilson won the 4^th place ribbon on beam captured the 7^th place ribbon on vault, finished 8^th on both bars and floor to come home in 8^th place in the All Around.

JO 6 group A

Hannah Herschler captured Silver medals on both vault and beam, won the Bronze medal on bars, finished 9^th on floor to come home with the Bronze medal in the All Around.

JO 6 group B

Ava Lee won the Silver medal on beam, captured the Bronze medal on bars, finished 7^th on both vault and floor to come home in 5^th place in the All Around.

JO 6 group C

Ayla Wheatley won the 8^th place ribbons on both bars and floor, finished 9^th on vault and 11^th on beam to come home in 10^th place in the All Around.

Grace Lelliot won the 9^th place ribbon on beam, took 10^th place on floor, finished 11^th on vault and 12^th on bars to come home in 12^th place in the All Around.

JO 6 group D

Isabelle Alsager captured the 9^th place ribbon on beam, took 11^th on vault, finished 12^th on bars and 13^th on floor to come home in 12^th place in the All Around.

JO 6 group E

Rihanna Dill won the 4^th place ribbon on vault, took the 5^th place ribbon on floor, finished 12^th on beam and 14^th on bars to come home in 13^th place in the All Around.

JO 5 group A

Shyanne Johnson captured the Silver medal on bars, won the Bronze medal on floor, finished 6^th on beam and 7^th on vault to come home with the Silver medal in the All Around.

JO 4 group A

Thea Gavel won the Bronze medal on floor, took the 5^th place ribbon on bars, finished 9^th on vault and 10^th on beam to come home in 7^th place in the All Around.

Ava Levins won the 7^th place ribbon on beam, captured the 8^th place ribbons on both vault and floor, finished 10^th on bars to come home in 11^th place in the All Around.

JO 4 group B

Myah Ward captured the 8^th place ribbon on vault, took 10^th place on both bars and beam, finished 11^th on the floor to come home in 10^th place in the All Around.

JO 4 group C

Ava Hershler won the 5^th place ribbons on both vault and floor, took home the 7^th place ribbons on both bars and beam to come home in 5^th place in the All Around.

Jo 4 group D

Sophie Mayers won the 5^th place ribbon on bars, placed 9^th on the beam, finished 10^th on both vault and floor to come home in 9^th place in the All Around.

JO 3 group B

Miwako Mcguffie-Ogasawara won a Bronze medal on vault, took the 7^th place ribbon on floor, finished 9^th on beam and 10^th on bars to come home in 8^th place in the All Around.

Myya Lanqvist took the 10^th place ribbons on both vault and beam, finished 11^th on floor and 12^th on bars to come home in 11^th place in the All Around.

JO 3 group C

Kaylie Lofstrom captured the 4^th place ribbon on vault, took the 6^th place ribbon on floor, finished 7^th on beam and 8^th on bars to come home in 8^th place in the All Around.

Grace Fraser won the Bronze medal on floor, captured the 6^th place ribbon on bars, finished 9^th on beam and 10^th on vault to come home in 10^th place in the All Around.

Sophie Pallan captured the 6^th place ribbon on beam, won the 8^th place ribbon on floor, finished 9^th on bars and 11^th on vault to come home in 11^th place in the All Around.

JO 3 group D

Paityn Giesbrecht placed 11^th on vault, bars, beam and floor coming home in 12^th place in the All Around.

JO 3 group E

Scarlett Walker captured the Silver medal on floor, won the 5^th place ribbon on vault, finished 9^th on beam and 11^th on bars to come home in 9^th place in the All Around.
