Stansell competes for Timberline at High School Gymnastics Provincials

Ksenia Stansell traveled to North Vancouver March 10^th-12^th 2022 to compete for the High School Championships held at Sutherland Secondary School. Ksenia had a great performance earning $1400 in scholarship money for post secondary education from her results. Ksenia captured the Bronze medal on Floor and Beam, placed 6^th on Vault and finished 7^th overall and in 3^rd place out of graduating grade 12 students. Congrats on a job well done!!

Success in Mount Aerosmith for CR gymnasts!

The Campbell River Gymnastics Association (CRGA) sent a group of girls to Port Alberni for the Mount Aerosmith competition. The athletes had many great performances bringing home close to 40 individual medals with 8 podium All Around finishes with Shyanne Johnson and Olivia Fawbert coming home as All Around Champions! Fantastic job done by all the athletes!! Full CR results are below.

CCP6 2003-2009
Shyanne Johnson won the Gold medal on Beam, captured the Silver medal on Bars, took 4^th place on Vault and 5^th place on Floor to come home as the All Around Champion!

Alyssa Wood captured the Bronze medal on Vault, placed 4^th on Floor, took 5^th place on Bars and finished 11^th on Beam to come home in 6^th place in the All Around.

Sophie Mayers won the Gold medal on Floor, took the 6^th place ribbon on Bars, finished 7^th on Beam and 11^th on Vault to come home in 7^th place in the All Around.

Hannah Thomas captured the Bronze medal on Floor, won the 6^th place ribbon on Vault, finished 10^th on Beam and 12^th on Bars to come home in 11^th place in the All Around.

CCP6 2010
Kaylie Lofstrom captured the Gold medals on both Vault and Bars, placed 5^th on both Beam and Floor to come home with the Silver medal in the All Around.

Grace Fraser won the Silver medal on Floor, captured the Bronze medal on Bars, placed 4^th on both Vault and Beam to come home with the Bronze medal in the All Around.

Polly Klipa won the Silver medals on both Vault and Beam, captured the Bronze medal on Floor, finished 4^th on Bars to come home in 4^th place in the All Around.

Sophie Pallan won the 6^th place ribbons on both Vault and Bars, took 7^th place on Floor, finished 8^th on Beam to come home in 6^th place in the All Around.

Chloe Stewart captured the 6^th place ribbons on both Beam and Floor, finished 8^th on both Vault and Bars to come home in 7^th place in the All Around.

CCP6 2011
Isobel Read won the Gold medal on Bars, captured the Bronze medals on Beam and Floor, finished 5^th on Vault to come home with the Silver medal in the All Around.

Haylee Toohey captured the Bronze medal on Bars, placed 7^th on Vault, finished 8^th on both Beam and Floor to come home in 5^th place in the All Around.

Lacey Palmer won the Gold medal on Vault, captured the Silver medal on Floor, took the Bronze on Beam and finished 4^th on Bars to come home with the Bronze medal in the All Around.

Olivia Fawbert captured the Gold medals on Bars, Beam and Floor, placed 6^th on Vault to come home with as the All Around Champion!

Avery McColl won the Gold medal on Vault, captured the Bronze medals on both Beam and Floor, finished 6^th on Bars to come home with the Silver medal in the All Around.

Koiia Hausner won the Gold medals on Bars and Beam, took 4^th place on Vault and 5^th place on Floor to come home with the Silver medal in the All Around.

Alyse Aydon captured the Gold medal on Vault, won the Silver medal on Bars, took the Bronze on Floor and finished 8^th on Beam to come home in 4^th place in the All Around.

Nahla Birchard won the 7^th place ribbon on Beam, took 10^th place on Floor, finished 12^th on Vault and 13^th on Bars to come home in 11^th place in the All Around.

Callie Bukta won the 6h place ribbon on Vault, took 7^th place on Floor, finished 8^th on Bars and 9^th on Beam to come home in 8^th place in the All Around.

Campbell River Gymnasts compete Live in Langley

February 18-20^th the Campbell River Gymnastics Association sent a group athletes to Langley to compete in the Christy Fraser Memorial Invitational. The athletes were excited to be there in person for the first time after competing virtually for the past season and a half. Highlights include Jackson Martin and Carson Ogg hitting qualifying scores for the Canadian Championships in their respective divisions as well as Jackson earning a trip to Edmonton in preparation for Canada Games in 2023. Congratulations to all the athletes! They combined for 20 medals!! Below are the full results of CR gymnasts.

MEN’S SENIOR
Carson Ogg, won the Gold medal on Parallel bars, captured the Bronze medals on Floor, Rings, Vault and High Bar to win the Bronze medal in the All Around.

MEN’S JUNIOR (16-18)
Jackson Martin won the Gold medal on Vault, took 6^th place on High Bar, placed 7^th on Rings and Parallel Bars, finished 8^th on Pommel Horse and 9^th on Floor to come home in 6^th place in the All Around.

CCP 9 2006-2007
Hannah Herschler took the 5^th place ribbon on Vault, placed 6^th on Floor, finished 7^th on both Bars and Beam to come home in 5^th place in the All Around.

CCP8 2008-2010
Ava Herschler captured 4^th place on Beam, took 8^th place on Floor, finished 9^th on Bars and 10^th on Vault to come home in 7^th place in the All Around.

CCP7 2008-2009
Rihanna Dill captured the Silver medal on Floor, placed 10^th on both Vault and Bars, finished 17^th on Beam to come home in 11^th place in the All Around.

Anna Harris won the Silver medal on Vault, took the 4^th place ribbon on Beam, finished 5^th on Bars and 8^th on Floor to come home with the Silver medal in the All Around.
